Orange Cat Media designs and builds
Mobile apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android, booking and membership platforms for the web, and the APIs, data, and cloud infrastructure that keep them running.
We take products from first sketch to store release — then stay on to keep them healthy as they grow.

How we work
No account managers or hand-offs — you talk to the people writing the code, from the first call through launch day and beyond.

Every project starts with the problem, not a feature list. We map the people, the data, and the riskiest assumptions first, so the first build is the right one.
Typed end to end, tested where it matters, and deployed from week one. You see working software early and often — never a big reveal at the end.
OS updates, store reviews, monitoring, and new features. We stay on after launch so the product keeps working as your business changes.
Services
From one focused app to a multi-tenant platform — scoped to what your business actually needs, and built to last past launch.

Apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android built with React Native and TypeScript — accessible, fast to load, and prepared for App Store and Google Play review from the first commit.
Booking and reservation systems, membership portals, dashboards, and marketing sites in React and Next.js — quick for customers, easy for your team to run.
Auth, payments, background jobs, and third-party integrations on Node, C#/.NET, and Python, backed by PostgreSQL and Redis.
Deploy pipelines, monitoring, and infrastructure on AWS and Railway, sized to your traffic and your budget.
User flows, prototypes, and interface design, so what we build is something people actually want to use.
Dependency and OS updates, store resubmissions, bug fixes, and new features after launch.

The studio
Orange Cat Media is led by founder and engineer Kailee Hamre. Kailee’s work spans multi-tenant insurance portals, enterprise scheduling platforms, finance-system integrations, and a consumer React Native app taken all the way through App Store release.
Before software, Kailee worked in medical laboratory science — which left a lasting habit of measuring twice and explaining the why. Kailee is also working toward an M.S. in Computer Science at Georgia Tech.

FAQ

Mobile apps, web platforms, and the backends behind them — usually for small and mid-sized businesses that need dependable software without building an in-house team. If you’re not sure your idea fits, ask anyway.

Often, yes. We start with a short audit — architecture, dependencies, deploys, and the riskiest areas — and give you a clear plan before changing anything.
It depends on scope. A focused website can take a few weeks; apps and platforms are planned in phases, with something usable shipped early.
Pricing depends on scope. We quote each project up front — in phases for larger builds — so you know what you’re paying for before work starts.
